Hurricane Milton Report
To everyone affected by this storm, we at the Hog Squad are praying for you. If anyone needs help, please leave a comment below. This storm was nothing short of rough and brutal. Instead of providing a fishing report today, I’ll be highlighting areas that have been damaged and bait shops that could use some support.
WARNING TO BOATERS!
DO NOT TRAVEL AT NIGHT!
There is still a significant amount of debris, including dumpsters, logs, and more. Please stay in the channels during high tide, as a lot of debris is submerged in the flats and could easily damage your propeller.

North skyway pier

Fishing Boat Ramps Open
Maximo Park Side dock open
Seminole boat ramp
Fishing Spots Currently Closed:
- Honeymoon Island
- Clearwater Beach Pier
- Fort De Soto Pier
- Skyway Fishing Pier South
Unfortunately, reports suggest that Honeymoon Island may be permanently altered. It appears that Dog Beach has merged with Hurricane Pass, meaning these fishing spots may be changed forever. Similar changes are likely in many areas impacted by the storm surge.
Additionally, there is no known reopening date for the Skyway Pier. If anyone has updates, please leave a comment below.
